San Diego Retreat - Planning Pretty

Hello everyone! It’s been a long week since I wrote my last post. Well I am finally back and settled form my trip to Southern California. Luckily I was able to relax a little bit in solitude while in San Diego. The weather was beautiful and although a few little ones were also on vacation at my hotel, I still got to enjoy my grown-up spring break.

While I’m getting back into my usual routine of blogging, I did want to share photos from the lovely Hyatt Regency Mission Bay hotel. I remembered staying here with my mom on our trips to Sea World. I purposely stayed put at the hotel this trip, poolside mostly. I loved staying at this hotel and focusing on doing absolutely nothing. The above photo is the view from the room on the 7th floor. Every staff member was kind and considerate. I didn’t have to lift a finger. So if you’re considering a trip to San Diego, I definitely recommend! Did I mention there are three pools and amazing spa?

hyatt-mission-bay-2 — My work bag stayed put and closed the entire trip. There’s a first time for everything :)

hyatt-mission-bay-3 — The deluxe ocean view room with this lovely sheer drape enclosed bedroom. I love the morning light in this space.

hyatt-mission-bay-4 — Two out of three of the pools. You can almost see the third which imitates a lagoon. And there were waterslides…I got on and once was definitely enough for me :)

Hyatt Regency Mission Bay — I actually fell asleep on the balcony one day curled up in a blanket. I was so relaxed that the wind didn’t bother me at all.

hyatt-mission-bay-7 — I watched the sunsets three days in a row. Across the marina, I spotted a dreamy pale blue beach cottage. That became my focal point every time I looked outside.
