It’s been a whirlwind around here the past couple of weeks. This year was off to such a rough start. Work and my grandmother passing took more than a chunk of my energy and happiness. I’m still catching up on reading, birthdays, friends’ baby news, Scandal and my own life.
Today, things will change. I took a really big step. I don’t want to share just yet, I’m one of those superstitious types who hates jinxing things before they happen and details worked out. I’m treating spring like the new year. Resolutions, cleaning out the clutter (literally and metaphorically) and giving my self a chance to refresh.
I’m revising my editorial calendar and working out what will and won’t work for Planning Pretty. I have hopes of doing a little redesigning soon and continue to practice my photography like crazy. I’ve been terrible about sharing my photos and many of my projects with all of you. To be honest, it felt silly to share such things for a while.
I am going to take a little bit of an intermission, however. Paris! We’ve had the trip planned for months and almost cancelled a few times for silly reasons that don’t matter. I’m glad we didn’t and now we’re leaving in two weeks!
Paris will be a refreshing, much needed break and creative restart.
In the meantime, I’m still working on projects for Planning Pretty and contributing around the web. My P+G Everyday articles are still flowing in!
There’s much to look forward to this spring, and I’m looking forward to sharing my restart with all of you!
Have a wonderful weekend :)
