Hello everyone! If you’re keeping up on social media, then you know the Planning Pretty shop is now open! The website is a little reorganized now so it’s easier to find the shop info and location too. Opening the store has been such a crazy process and I’m grateful for all the support these past few months. I find that I forget to take care of myself in the midst of running a business. One way that I keep myself sane is to get outdoors. I love living by the ocean here in Long Beach. It’s so easy to get some fresh air while walking the dog, doing yoga, gardening or enjoying a bike ride. I like to stay comfy and cozy when I take my little breaks. I recently discovered bay area based Lucy Activewear and all their cute apparel. Colorful tanks, flower print pants and stylish long cardigans are some of my favorites.
It was love at first sight, when I found the Studio Hatha Capri Legging with a its flower print over a black background. They are the perfect legging for running to the flower market, quick yoga session and walking little Sprinkles.
I also found these very comfy and breathable Workout Racerback tanks in yellow and kaleidoscope. I’m often lifting heavy boxes, moving furniture around, carrying buckets of flowers or rushing up a flight a stairs. It gets hot! I need to feel comfortable, dry and not look like a crazy sweaty mess. I can wear these layered for slight colder days too.
My favorite piece is the Enlightening Wrap! It can be a bit breezy here in Long Beach and I always need a light sweater when I head outside. I love the length and I can move easily and quickly throughout my day.
I’ve learned that being busy means I have to get outdoors even more than before. I can’t run on computers, iPads and phones alone. I like to unwind, take off the pretty dresses and throw on a cute workout outfit. Lucy Activewear has such a great collection that’s perfect for the stylish active woman! How do you unwind and enjoy the outdoors?
