Jasmine’s back for another style post. She’s great at finding gorgeous pieces!! And I have to admit I’m quite the fan of both brands in today’s spotlight :)
Hello, everyone! I mentioned in my last post that I was in the mood for shopping now that autumn is around the corner! Unfortunately, with being on a tight budget, I’ve had to employ the “look, but don’t touch” method when it comes to satisfying my style cravings. I decided to do some online window shopping and wanted to share a few finds with you all. Today, I want to share some goodies from two of the “greats” of Southern ladylike charm, Lilly Pulitzer and Vera Bradley.

The first thing I came across was the “Cassie” dress. A dress like this is so versatile! It could be dressed up or down, and can definitely be worn with tights and boots to take you into these upcoming cooler months. It comes in a few colors, too, for those of you who like to collect staples in a variety of colors.
Also, check out the “Travel Pants!” These are a great example of the skinny ankle pant that I structured my last post around. I chose to show the black here, but they also come in navy and grey.
For all you coffee and tea drinkers out there, she offers this cute thermal mug in a few different prints. Also, in keeping with the planning theme of this site, I wanted to point out the beautiful 2014 agenda books that are on the site! I don’t use planners myself (remember my post on cleaning for the “organizationally-challenged”? I definitely include myself in that category), but Camille does and I immediately thought of how perfect these would be for her and anyone else who likes to keep a written agenda!
Next, I hopped over to the Vera Bradley site. After receiving my first Vera bag as a gift last year, I’ve been hoping to expand my collection! Luckily, now they are having a sale on products in the pattern swatches I included on the left (from top to bottom: Suzani, Island Blooms, English Rose, Canyon), as well as in Dogwood, the print that you see on the products I included on this board (which is the pattern I have!).
The bag I already have is the Large Duffel, which is a great bag for short trips or weekends away. For those of you who travel by car, I’d highly recommend it! Even for you long-distance (read: plane) travelers, the site claims that the bag fits the criteria for a carry-on. In the future, I hope to acquire some of the multitude of companion pieces she offers, so I can build my own matching travel set. The examples I posted here are the Carry-it-All Wristlet, which features a slot for your phone as well as compartments for ID, credit cards, and change; the large cosmetic bag; and, for those of you who use hair-styling tools, the Straighten up and Curl flat-iron/curling-iron case. What really caught my attention is the Lunch Bunch bag, which is now at the very top of my Vera Bradley wish-list. I’d love to have a pretty lunchbox to carry into work every day!
I’d also love to hear about which stores or brands you all love to window-shop! Tell me about them in the comments section!
