Today I am following through on my plan to just be happy. A true Plan Free Friday. This week followed Kate of Katelyn Brooke’s advice to go on a creative cleanse. I spent the week doing what I like, which as of late is photography. I baked cookies. I stopped myself from surfing Bloglovin for hours. Yesterday I walked to the lake, sat on a bench, drank a milkshake and played with my dog. Simple life.
Since I started Planning Pretty, I have’t had the chance to really just sit and create. I feel like I’m running a never ending race to keep up those way ahead of me. That’s very tiresome. Most nights, I’m up way too late playing catch up with the world. I had to stop.
So I’m not going to do that any more. I’m going to do my best to bring you original content, but sometimes I will have to recap my lovely discoveries. Why? Because I have to live my life. Being in front of a computer for 16 hours is not a good habit.
As this blog grows, I know I’ll get the hang of things (it’s only been 4 months!)
Thank you all for sticking with me this long, I’ve had my good and bad days. I’m learning as much as I can in this process and hope that it gets me somewhere, someday.
I’m ready to start March off with a better system. I have so many great ideas because I love spring and just need to execute. I’m off to the Alameda antique faire on Sunday with my friend Ana of Fluxi On Tour. I hope we find some goodies!
Have a wonderful weekend!
