Well hello there! It’s been quite the week over hear, battling a bit of a cold unfortunately. Don’t worry I’m bouncing back just fine. Anyways, I haven’t posted a Plan Free Friday in a while so it is long overdue!
Today I’m actually attending Brit+Co’s first Re:Make conference in San Francisco! This conference is geared towards makers and creators of all kinds from designers to chefs. I’m excited to hear the Home+Tech panel, featuring Emily Henderson. Plus the Fashion and Beauty panels with representatives from Sephora, Refinery 29 and Modcloth. I’m really excited hear what everyone has to say. If you’re in the SF area, part two of Re:Make is tomorrow at it’s free! Check out the site to see all the great crafter and vendors attending.
And more excited conference news, I’m going to Camp Mighty in a couple of weeks! Our wonderful team at Federated Media are heading south to Palm Springs to connect with bloggers and entrepreneurs. I’m definitely excited to share my 100 item life list and make a few connections to take my own goals to the next level. Should be a very thrilling yet rewarding experience! Oh and if you would like to help, I am fundraising for the GoMighty Charity:WaterProject. This year GoMighty’s goal is to donate $20,000 before Camp Mighty. If you’re interested in donating, first thank you + visit: http://my.charitywater.
If you’re in the LA area or will be in town October 26-27th then definitely sign up for Freutcamp! Leah Bergman of Freutcake is teaching a two day course on blogging. Leah has taken on blogging full time and is building an amazing empire. Attend her creative bootcamp for bloggers if you can :)
Also quick shout out to Jillian of Sweet & Spark and her feature on Glitter Guide this week! She’s quite the inspirational entrepreneur and a sweet gal. Definitely check out her collection of vintage jewelry too!
And I can’t ignore how much this lady inspires me. Joy Cho’s new studio is a like a dream to me. To have a place like that one day to be creative, write and build a business would be absolutely amazing. Of course Emily did a fabulous job!
One passion I don’t share to much of, is my love of animals! I am a proud dog owner and was very excited when I discovered this Australian blog, Pretty Fluffy. Perfect for any dog lover :)
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Lots of ideas churning before I reach my one year blog anniversary next month…boy does time fly.
