Last night I attended another one of West Elm’s awesome events! Rebekah Carey McNail owner and event planner for A and B Creative did an amazing job styling the new summer collection. You may have noticed I was quite active on Instagram last night and this is why :)
First guests learned a few tips for styling an outdoor tablescape. Rebekah encourage mixing different patterns, dishes and letting your personality shine! She did an awesome job using West Elm’s summer collection, succulents and paper flowers.
Second half of the event was a craft lesson! Yay! We made coasters out of oil paper and it was so easy. Trace and cut, that’s it. I made a whole little set for my next party! I loved chatting with Rebekah and her friends especially the event’s photographer, Sarah Gerber of Twenty Twenty Studios.
Thank you West Elm of Emeryville for hosting the event! Your staff was super friendly and gives me yet another reason to visit your store once week! And to all my friends in the area, follow @westelm_bayst on Instagram to stay up to date on events. Also @AandBCreative to see her lovely events and creations! I highly recommended attending the next (free!) West Elm event in your area.
