Hi everyone! I have been working on a few projects for this season and getting ready for another trip. Yes it does seem like we travel every other week, but I don’t mind. I’ve gotten pretty quick at packing a suitcase where it used to take me hours. I’m also learning to pack less and less with each trip. I notice items I never use or wear each trip and just leave them out the next time around. We’ve been able to eliminate an entire suitcase! Anyways, I am getting excited for our trip to Portland this week. Never been and I hear lots of great things about the city. I am attending The Hello Sessions, a creative conference led by Melissa Bahen and Joy Uyeno.
Both are awesome veteran bloggers that I’ve followed over the years. Looking forward to seeing what this event is all about. It’s the first year and they have a great line up of speakers and sponsors. It’s bit more casual than some of the other conferences I’ve attended and I’m looking forward to the laid back atmosphere and great conversations.
Travel can wear me out and sometimes I wish I can just sit quietly at home. This is a nice short trip and I can’t wait to see some familiar faces like my friend Bobbie from SF! I’m hoping to connect with new people and maybe even find some LA folks at the event. Please send me any suggestions for Portland too! It’s a quick trip, but I would love to sightsee and try local spots. Thank you!!!
