I know it’s been a while since I’ve written a date idea post! Not that my husband and I stopped going on dates :)
We spent Friday afternoon at a lovely local winery thanks to my awesome friend Emily! Concannon Vineyard in Livermore has a wonderful and long history. Their petite sirah is amazing! We tried five wines, bought our favorite and wandered around the vineyard taking photos.
I highly recommend visiting a winery as a date or outing with friends. Vineyards are a beautiful and relaxing place the date itself doesn’t have to be expensive. Many vineyards have a restaurant on site or can visit the tasting room as we did!
If there isn’t a winery near you, you can always do your own tasting at home. Purchase a few different bottles (be careful not to drink too much!) and set up a romantic tasting complete with small bites and desserts that compliment each wine. If the weather is nice, set up the tasting outdoors!
