Happy Friday everyone! I wanted to jump in with a quick post that may prove useful for your weekend entertaining. Last month I attended the BHG Stylemaker event in NYC. Simply Juices was one of the sponsors and hosted a cocktail creation contest. I didn’t make the finals, but I wanted to share my recipe anyways! I hate for this idea to go to waste. I thought it was pretty delicious and a nice twist on a martini. I served it in a coupe because I like the shape of the glass more. It’s prettier don’t you think?

Ingredients
- 1oz Premium gin (I used Barr Hill)
- .5oz St. Germain elderflower liqueur
- 2oz Simply Juice Mixed Berry
- 2oz of Chilled tea (use floral or white tea)
- 1/2 tsp Raw honey
- Fresh flower garnish (available in the herb section of a grocery store)
Instructions
- A couple hours ahead of time, brew a full cup of tea using a white tea. Floral teas like white peony or hibiscus are great flavors for this cocktail.
- Add honey while the tea is still hot and then chill the tea in the refrigerator until cool.
- Next fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Using a standard jigger to measure, pour in the gin, St. Germain, and Simply Juice.
- Add the iced tea and shake the mixture vigorously to chill.
- Slowly pour the cocktail into a coupe-style glass. For garnish, sprinkle fresh edible flower petals into the cocktail. They will float wonderfully on the surface.
Give this recipe a try this weekend, maybe Sunday afternoon while sitting in a sunny room with a good book. Enjoy!
