Happy Sunday everyone! Today is the first day of spring and I’m happy to celebrate with lots of fresh flowers. I shared few of the arrangements on Snapchat (search planningpretty to follow) of the flowers I made for our home. I’m planning a trip up to the LA Flower Market to really scope out flowers for upcoming projects.
This week I wanted to create a very vibrant Easter table setting. I was inspired by the colors of fresh grass and dyed eggs. I found a beautiful fuchsia pink tablecloth by local designer, Pacific & Rose . Then I found chrysanthemums in the exact same shade for a centerpiece arrangement with green dianthus and yellow button pops. The ceramic vase is by Modernica with a very low profile perfect for a dining table. It doesn’t block the view across the table! I believe in using gold flatware wherever possible and my inexpensive set from Target gets used quite often. I used vintage green goblets as glassware. At each place setting a small assortment of my favorite chocolates from Ghirardelli, a milk chocolate caramel bunny and toffee milk chocolate eggs. It’s a delightful table setting for any age!
I hope everyone has wonderful week! I am posting lots of spring ideas on my Instagram account so be sure to follow.
