Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone! I’m here to give you a much needed dose of girly today. Every week I post a new table setting photoshoot inspired by different celebrations and everyday gatherings held at home. Valentine’s Day happens to fall on a Sunday this year, so I thought it would be a perfect theme for this week’s Sunday Table. There’s plenty of pink and flowers in this table setting!
Today’s setting is a romantic dinner for two. Bright pops of pink bring a very feminine touch to the overall look. It’s playful and sweet with pink vintage china and hand-painted floral pasta dishes. Gold flatware adds elegance, but the pink glassware keeps this in-home dinner from being too stuffy. The linens are simple, inexpensive yet make a statement for the table. A simple arrangement of white hydrangeas is a lovely subtle centerpiece, instead typical overpriced roses. Dessert sits patiently on the buffet, simple cupcakes garnished with ribbon roses and gold sprinkles. Pink paper lanterns fill the buffet with vibrant color. Vintage glass plates are the perfect size for cupcakes. Gold tapered candlesticks create a romantic ambiance for a dim lit room. It’s a perfectly happy setting to enjoy Valentine’s Day.
I hope you’re inspired to decorate your table for Valentine’s Day! For more ideas for setting the Sunday table, check out past posts here. If you ever have any questions about the table leave a comment below :)
