If you’ve spent any time on Pinterest or reading blogs this summer, you definitely noticed a ton of ice cream party articles. July was even National Ice Cream Month! Everyone has put their own spin on the classic treat. I for one have been trying to throw an ice cream party of my own, but boy is it tough to find a free weekend in the summer! As I plan my possible end of the summer ice cream party, I’ll share some of my favorite ideas from awesome bloggers around the web. Plus Brit.co has created an entire shop dedicated to ice cream party supplies. Now that’s a reason to celebrate!
Making homemade waffle cones is really easy. I use my pizzelle maker (currently on sale at Macy*s!) and the standard pizzelle cookie recipe included. Just mold into the shape of the cone before they cool, super easy. They taste so much better than store-bought cones.
I love Ikea hacks and this has to be one of my favorites. Sugar and Cloth created a beautiful cart for serving ice cream and toppings! Of course you can reuse it for other themed parties too or simply a bar cart.
I think ice cream parties are great for birthdays, baby showers or even just to get friends and family together. Having an ice chest handy keeps the frozen treats cool and a DIY toppings bar provides loads of entertainment. I personally believe ice cream parties don’t just have to be in the summer!
Have you thrown an ice cream party or thinking about it too?
