Happy Monday!
Today I want to share a few photos from last week’s workshop at Feastly HQ. My friend Ana (Fluxi On Tour) and I hosted a styling + instagram brunch in San Francisco. We had a great mix of bloggers, foodies, & chefs attend plus they enjoyed our prepared brunch!
Everyone shared their awesome instagram photos with the hashtag #instabrunchsf, but my husband took a few photos while all the activity was in full swing!
Overhead before the workshop began. I loved setting the table arranging everything just right. Ana and I followed each other around the table as we set out flatware, lines, worksheets and flowers.
Offering one-on-one help was my favorite part. I love helping people work through their questions. I try to encourage experimentation and simple change of angles when working with props. Sometimes you just need to rotate or flip to get the right look!
The brunch. Ana and I prepared quinoa salad, buttermilk scones, mini quiche and yogurt parfaits. There was a mimosa bar and marmalade station. It was definitely a feast!
Ana and I collected every prop we could for the workshop! Attendees had their pick of plates, flatware, bowls, flowers, etc., to arrange and curate for their photos.
Mid-workshop, everyone is practicing a little food and table styling with our props and food. We encouraged everyone to just dive in with styling and photographing. Forget what you learned about playing with your food, it was definitely encouraged!
Anyone and everyone can learn a little styling and how to take beautiful photos for Instagram. It doesn’t have to be a difficult or expensive ordeal! Thank you to everyone that attended and keep sharing your awesome photos with your followers :)
