Happy Thursday everyone!
In preparation for Easter and all it’s pastel loveliness, I put together a quick guide for packing the perfect Easter basket. Today’s basket is filled with delicious candies and treats mostly from Williams-Sonoma, but also a few classics. Brack’s jelly beans are still my favorite Easter candy. You’ll also find yesterday’s DIY paper mache eggs packed away in the basket too!
Easter baskets are wonderful gifts for kids and adults. If you are hosting brunch or dinner this weekend, put together an awesome basket of goodies. You can make one this size, this basket is Target Threshold, or a mini basket.
First, find a pretty tea towel or pattern cotton fabric to to line the basket. It looks so much better than that shredded paper stuff that gets all over the house. Then add in the best Easter treat, jelly beans! Instead of storing these in plastic easter eggs, place inside a small tin or in treat bags.
Following the jelly beans add in as many Easter candies and sweets as you wish! From marshmallow animals to malt ball eggs, there are so many traditional and creative candies out there to make a happy basket. Look for pretty packaging or buy your own treat boxes and bags to arrange the candy. Michaels and Target have a lot of great options in stock for the holiday.
And for a final touch, add a few cut flowers to the basket handle. Use floral wire to attach!
There’s still time to assemble the perfect basket. Just the other day I saw load of Easter candy in the market, Target, and decor at Michaels. Just try not to wait until Saturday to shop :)
