The holidays are almost here! Boy was that fast!
With work exploding just before vacation, I’m daydreaming of the upcoming week. Not only for the sake of vacation but all the Christmas traditions.
I’m finally going to make a gingerbread house this year. I want it to be simple and dainty although probably not pink. I’m thinking a red and mint house would be quite cute in our home! Or maybe and all white gingerbread house. Time to exercise my piping skills.
We have no idea what we’re doing for New Year’s Eve, but I kinda wanna sit in my living room and wear this dress. It’s on sale now at Anthropologie and I’ve had my eye on it for a while. If only there was a lovely party to attend…
We are hosting Christmas Eve dinner this year and we a giant grocery and shopping list to get ready. I’ve been in the process of redesigned our dining room with a deadline for this weekend. But aside from the decor, I’m excited about the hot cocoa, yummy desserts and cozy up by the fire on the TV screen (no chimney yet).
And to steal the words of Target, that’s my kind of holiday. I’m sure we’re all telling ourselves just wait one more week. I’m looking forward to good food, much needed relaxation and maybe even a trip to Disneyland :)
