After putting up our tree this weekend, I’m finally in the holiday spirit. I’ve started looking for pretty holiday cards! A lot of times, we aren’t able to see everyone during the holidays so why not send a card in your place! I’ve always liked the idea, but have never sent them before! My husband and I think its a great way to show our love to those we won’t see this Christmas.
Early December is the best time to order or select your holiday cards and stock up on adorable season-themed stamps. A lot of stores are having great sales!
There are so many great options from digital to snail mail! If you are sending mostly to relatives, then snail mail might be the way to go. For friends, a great paperless holiday card would be great! Here are a few of my favorite designs:
Think you don’t have the time to send out cards? Here’s my easy step by step guide to sending holiday cards!
- You’ll need to make a list of everyone who will receive a card. This way you know how many to order!
- Next, verify you have home or email addresses for each family or individual. A spreadsheet really helps!
- Purchase and/or choose your favorite paper or email design. Or DIY!
- If you have a custom email message, be sure to proofread and check for typos and send!
- Write out addresses or make simple labels in a word doc & print for snail mail.
- Add cute return labels or custom stamps and mail at least two weeks before!
