Planning Pretty HQ is coming along! Well the planning is at least. I have completed a few photoshoots in the space already like the dinner and Valentine balloon post.
I’m gradually moving supplies and props from our home to the office. It’s doing wonders for removing clutter. There’s still a lot to transport and organize and unfortunately I have to wait until my bookcase, shelves and other storage aids are setup. I’m antsy to get the studio finished asap, but know that I have to take my time decorating and properly organizing. It never helps to rush on a decor job. You always end up purchasing things you don’t love by getting caught up in the task.
In the meantime, I’d like to share some of the inspiration for the space. I posted my working floor plan and design last week. This week I’m really focusing on what my needs are for the space. How many storage boxes will I need/can store neatly? Where will I keep craft supplies, fabrics and paints? I’m looking for super functional pieces that also look good!
And then, I’m considering going in a different direction. Still playing with the blush hues, this next decor inspiration is little different from the typical Planning Pretty look. Not too far off though, there’s still pink after all!
A lot of the design elements will come towards the end of the decorating process. Time to focus on storage, painting and transporting blog materials to the studio. What do guys think of the inspiration? Would love to hear your favorites!
