I’m pretending like this is the first week of school. I completely cleared off my desk and filed a lot of old papers. My books are displayed neatly and there are fresh flowers sitting on the corner. Best of all, my new desk accessories from Poppin arrived. My desk makeover is now complete!
I had quite the obsession with notebooks, pens and other school supplies growing up. My rule was to squeeze as many different colors as possible into my backpack. There was no shortage of Hello Kitty & her Sanrio friends, Lisa Frank and Gelly roll pens. At one point I wrote each line of home in a different color ink! I admit, too far with the color coordination on that one.
Now my desk is minty fresh and I’m ready to start off a new “school year” this September. I love the quality of the products. They are sturdy, high quality materials and come in amazing colors that are easy to mix and match.
My essential desk accessories are deeply rooted in my need to control receipts, mail and loose paper. Hence a good stapler, trays and tape will save my desk from clutter. I also constantly lose pens in purses, my car and our home. Have ton on hand is a life saver. No more running around the house looking for a pen!

My desk looks a hundred times better! I still have my main crafting/storage office space, but I love working in this sunny part of our bedroom. Natural light makes such a difference.
I even have my on-the-go gold set now! The duo notebooks and portfolio are great for coffee dates, conferences and jotting down information.
