Here’s part two of designing our home office! While designing our office I found several products that help make organization manageable.
I found a great chartreuse file cabinet from CB2 to place under the built in desk. It hides all of our wires too! Hint: Try to purchase the floor model, if available, for great discounts!
In the top drawer, we needed neat office supplies to make getting work done a whole lot easier. These acrylic drawers saved the day!
The Container Store has so many great organization solutions and there’s always some kind of deal or sale going on. I found this great paper organizer in the store and the collection comes in so many colors.
My husband and I have a simple filing system for all papers that come into our home. Docs go into our silver basket, the inbox, and are sorted into the acrylic wall bins. With a few binders from Office Depot and magazine holders from Ikea to hide loose papers and notebooks, the office is complete.
It becomes a lot easier to determine what needs our attention immediately and what can wait till later. It’s really simple to maintain organization when you have the right tools to keep things neat!
