My walls have been blank since we moved in! Honestly I just hadn’t found pieces I wanted to hang in our living room. But I finally hankered down and started collecting prints and art work that we loved. What we have now is a start and we hope to grow and add on collected pieces. I have a plan to hang a collage of dishes that somehow spirals into the dining area :)
It all started with this wonderful Bon Voyage balloon print by Marcela Cebrowski. My husband and I are big adventure buffs, our wedding was UP themed. Minted has an amazing collection of artist prints available and at an affordable price. I had such a hard time choosing one print because I could have filled my walls. This adorable chair was a close second. I was really torn!
I decided to DIY my own frames for our gallery wall (notice the gold) and it turned out great! Don’t worry I have a how to coming up next week, plus tips for hanging artwork.
