I love birthdays. I love birthday cakes, parties, decorations. And since I can’t bake a cake or throw a party for all of your birthdays, I can at least do a special tribute for each month! So here’s another installment of You’re A Gem, a series dedicated to birthstone inspired decor.
What a lucky month you have, June birthday girls! Technically you have a few different birthstones, but I think a pearl is just lovely as a birthstone.

I love that a pearl has a luminous glow with subtle hints of grey. These four spaces definitely have a pearlescent feel. Funny how that translates into tranquil, bright open spaces. It’s feminine but not overly so, and very classic. I think I’ll always have a room in my house that’s inspired by pearls (right now it’s my bedroom).
