Happy Monday everyone! A couple weeks ago, I was asked to design a bedroom using Crane & Canopy bedding as a focal point. I love getting tasks like this because it’s so much fun to put together pieces and create an awesome new look.
I loved the bedroom above featured on Bright Bazaar, but wanted to create an affordable and obtainable version. It’s such a great feminine space especially with the coral vanity. I updated the look by making it a little bit more sophisticated and less playful, but maintained the great color scheme. Here’s what I designed!
Sources: Linden Coral Bedding from Crane & Canopy, $139 // Jenna Nesting Tables from Pier 1 Imports, $199 // Ceramic Bird Cage from Anthropolgie, $68 // Nate Berkus Pineapple from Target, $25 // Grey Throw from Crane & Canopy, $69 // Bijou Rug from Lulu & Georgia, prices vary by size // Coral Rose Sheer Window Panels from West Elm, now on sale
This dream bedroom plays off of the vintage modern trend by incorporating the clean white pineapple and geometric throw. But the rug and side table balance everything with vintage charm. The same happens with the mix of an electric neon and pastel blue. Together they form a gorgeous pair. The room is peaceful, happy and bright, basically all the feelings you want in a bedroom!
Honestly this bedroom needs to be apart of my If I Were Single series because it’s so dainty. I love pastels, but I don’t think my dear husband could handle it. Maybe one day after I’ve had kids/gone through labor, I can bribe him! No that wouldn’t be nice…
What two styles would you pair for your dream bedroom or really, any room?
