This reveal is definitely past due! I shared my office and my decor deficient living room, but now it’s time to show my favorite room in our apartment. Our master bedroom was the first room to be decorated! I dreamed of a bedroom in this color scheme for a while and am so happy it turned out so well!
Be sure to read all the way to end where I share where I found all these great pieces.
How cute is this sign? Our honeymoon hotel in Aruba, Amsterdam Manor, included this in our newlywed goody bag.
Custom artwork always looks great! My dad painted this rendition of an engagement photo by Sun & Sparrow Photography (check out to see our photo-shoot). I fell in love with mirrored furniture this year. It perfectly adds a touch of glamour to any room.
I have quite the little perfume collection. Placing little bottles or other vanity items on a nice tray or dish is a great way to clean up clutter. It also brings focus to the items you value most!
Choosing purple for our color scheme was so easy! We wanted a peaceful yet regal color. Our bedding is a lovely off-purple, in between mauve and lavender, yet our throw is a deep and rich aubergine. It’s such a soothing atmosphere especially when sunlight bursts through our high windows.
I am a huge fan of placing twin nightstands on each side of the bed, but they don’t have to match. And I love how our lampshades coordinate perfectly with the bedding. My mom gave us the pair of lamps for our first place back in Long Beach.
Bird’s eye view . . .
And look who snuck into the photo-shoot! She truly is the little queen of this bed and the faux fur throw is her favorite spot.
The shelves over the bed are actually leftover decor from our wedding or decor from our first apartment. It’s important to add personal touches like photographs or artwork to make the real feel like you. Once we have our wedding photos made we’ll add them to the shelves.
Now where did I find all this you may ask? Here’s the complete list to the best of my ability. Keep an eye out for sales!
