Gallery walls are quite popular nowadays. While I love prints and paintings sometimes a pretty-colored frame is just enough. I created this mini gallery wall by repainting a few boring black frames and these adorable wooden heart blocks with Devine Poodle and Devine Elephant. It’s the perfect romantic color combination, very Valentine’s Day inspired :)
If you haven’t stumbled upon Devine Color paints in Target stores yet, you are missing out! There are way more paint colors available online on DevineColor.com. I love the creamy smooth finish and they are coming out with a line of glitter dust to add into the paint for a little extra sparkle.
I loved the soft pink color as soon as I opened the can. It’s pale, dainty and almost seems like a neutral color. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I opened Devine Elephant. Once the first coat dried, the beautiful grey tones appeared. Grey is one of my favorite colors, and I love using it whenever or wherever I can. That’s one color my husband and I can agree on :)
This is the easiest DIY you could do. Just pick up a paint brush and a can of paint. I used a small brush to paint on the words “love” and “us”, all by hand. No steps necessary. Now the little extra step I did do, and will have to redo regularly, is adding flowers. I used a basic twine to tie on a few cut stems of roses, carnations and amaranthus. You can spritz with a little water and they should last a couple days. I’m getting into the habit of adding flowers to absolutely everything I can!
My next project is to re-paint a pair of Restoration Hardware counter stools in Devine Manzanita. Can’t wait to share the chair makeover when it’s all done!
**This is a promotion for Devine Color paints. I received a few sample paint colors to enhance a DIY project. All opinions and ideas expressed are my own. I only support and share brands that I truly love and wish to share with my readers.
